An evening course scheduled for February 12 in the Elbert Palmer computer lab had many challenges. The chief challenge was weather, it was 33 degrees under a winter sky. The three BoardRoom instructors doubted that many of the scheduled 18 parents would be in attendance under such extreme weather conditions. Much to their delight, absence was negligible. Most impressive was Ms. Reveena Harris, who traveled a mile via a motorized wheel chair in freezing weather, on her quest to complete the course requirements. Ms. Harris’ award is being used to help her educate her grandson who is a deaf student in Wilmington, DE.
