Free Family Computers
Improving the trajectory of Families
Our mission is to facilitate the installation of, and provide training for, Internet connected computers in the household of every school-aged child for improving the child’s academic achievement and increasing the adult’s economic opportunity. Family computers are earned by parents/guardians after attending five 90-minute sessions focused on in-home learning. Computers, packed in boxes, are prepared for families to take home following a ceremony.
Refurbished Computer Donations
connection to transformational tools
BoardRoom Presentations has acquired various computers and accessories which have been refurbished for the benefit of the community. Sources include individuals, corporations and educational institutions. The units are wiped cleaned and reinstalled with legal operating systems and publicly available, functional targeted software. Instructors attempt to match available units to participant needs. Where portability is important laptop computers are assigned and where mass connectivity would be beneficial, server models may be assigned. The participants are given email support to insure continued use and satisfaction.

The things that I have learned from those 3 short classes has inspired me to get more. I knew that the computer was valuable but just didn't know how much. You have opened up that burning desire to learn more. I truly am appreciative, because now I have the tools and the know how to advance my grandchildren to the next level in their education.
